Watch my video recap of 30A on Youtube here!
I’m feeling weird.
Last year I had gone to pick up our rented RV and then the shut down happened that day.
And we cancelled our trip. Remember when THAT was the most disappointing thing in the world!
It’s so weird to be a such different person a year later! We have been through so much.
I watch these videos and feel so weird in my body. I remember feeling so scared.
You can feel things moving in the opposite direction with things opening back up and people getting their vaccines and now THAT feels hard.
But alas, we have another Spring Break upon us and it feels like people go one of two ways:
It’s either the beach or the mountains.
And I took a poll on Instagram and, according to you guys – ITS THE BEACH!
So picked my favorite beach – 30a!
You have to rent bikes! And explore all the towns!
Timpoochee Trail – The 19-mile paved path referred to as the Timpoochee Trail runs the entire length of Scenic Highway 30A and passes through all of the small beach towns
Outpost – Beautiful store that sells a little bit of everything clothes, accessories, gifts, home decor. They also have the cutest little coffee shop/wine bar located inside so you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee or glass of wine while you shop!
OKO Lifestyle – Not only do they have the cutest clothes but a lot of them are hand-sewn and made by women in the Dominican. Their mission is “Equipping people to Overcome, demonstrating acts of Kindness and giving Opportunity to those who need it most.”
Modica Market for chicken salad
Chiringo – It’s a Spanish-influenced, casual beachside bar and eatery that blends global beach flavors with Southern charm.
